We offer the following Adult Classes at the Keefe Learning Lab:

Adult Basic Education
Have you been out of school for a while? Would you like to improve your reading, writing and math skills? Do you need a high school diploma? This course is a good place to start.

GED Prep
Do you want to study for the GED exam? You will work on five required areas of study: math, science, literature, and the arts, writing skills, and social studies. You will be given practice tests and instruction will be individualized where possible.

ESOL-English for Speakers of Other Languages
Would you like to improve your English communication at home, at your children's school and on the job? Are you interested in furthering your education or training? Do you want to learn more about the culture of the United States? We offer classes just for you.

Citizenship
Do you need to learn about the history and government of the United States? Do you need to know the requirements for citizenship? Do you need to know how to apply for the exam and assistance in filling out the citizenship forms?

Career Transitions
Are you unemployed or underemployed? Looking to change careers but don't know where to start? Has your lack of computer skills made it difficult for you to find work?
Key Components:

Instruction in computer technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
Prepare a personal resume and write professional cover and thank you letters
Develop effective interviewing techniques and learn the soft skills that employers value
Explore careers and match your interests and skills with suitable jobs
Learn about basic employable skills, including business ethics and teamwork
Work on completing your high school diploma and improve your reading, writing and math abilities
